"Great staff! Very time efficient, streaming while being treated was a nice touch. Prices are very reasonable."- B.M. / Google / Sep 02, 2021
"Great experience! The receptionist is AMAZING, she is always so pleasant, friendly and welcoming. The staff are accommodating, always doing what they can to make you feel comfortable. In all my visits everyone has been consistent and that is hard to come by."- E.J. / Google / Aug 25, 2021
"I felt like ROYALTY when I entered the building. The two women behind the front desk stood up and acknowledged my presence. I was shocked cause well you know customer service is almost non-existent these days. Everyone, from the X-Ray tech to the Dental Hygienist to the Office Manager were genuine and helpful. The team put my concerns and anxiety at ease (I've been going to the same Dentist since I was 15). Scheduling was a bit of an issue due to being a new patient, but that had nothing to do with the East Houston location. I mention it because if you ask to be transferred to the physical location, the Office Manager will personally handle any scheduling issues that may arise. I highly recommend this location. I have an upcoming appointment to take care of a cavity which will really put them to the test LOL. I would give them 10 stars if I could!"- A.M. / Google / Aug 25, 2021

Your dental alignment will be influenced by several factors: sucking your thumb as a child, genetics, missing one or several teeth, or a traumatic injury to your lower face. The misalignment of your teeth often leads to other oral health problems, like dental malocclusion (a bad bite), abnormal enamel wear, trouble speaking and chewing, as well as jaw pain and toothaches. If your MINT dentist notices early signs of one of these issues during your dental exam, we may recommend an orthodontic treatment, like Invisalign®.
Orthodontic treatments like Invisalign® are wonderful for both adults and teens who want straighter teeth without the hassle and appearance of traditional braces. Although they do need to be worn most of the time, Invisalign® can be taken out in order to eat and brush your teeth, as well as for special events and playing sports. Far more discreet than metal braces, other people usually will not be able to tell that you are wearing your aligners.
What to Expect
After your consultation, your first Invisalign® trays will be created using digital impressions taken by your MINT dentistry team. When they are ready, you will come back to receive your first aligners and instructions from one of our skilled doctors. You should to wear your aligners the majority of the day for the process to work effectively, ideally taking them out only to eat and brush your teeth. In time, you will move to the next set of aligners as they gently move your teeth closer to their final alignment. You will need to schedule appointments every 4 – 6 weeks to have the fit of your aligners checked and have more digital impressions taken, which will be used to make your next set of aligners. The length of time that you will use Invisalign® will vary based on the original position of your teeth and your goals, but most patients wear aligners for around 1 – 2 years.
When you are done with your last set of Invisalign® trays, it's important to make sure your teeth stay in their new position. Invisalign® Vivera® retainers help to hold your teeth in place using the same comfortable material as your aligner trays. Each retainer will be made custom at the Invisalign® dental laboratory based on digital impressions taken after your teeth are in the right position. Your dentist will explain how often to wear your retainer and how to care for it once it is shipped to our facility from the Invisalign® dental lab. We will continue to check your bite and alignment at your dental exams in case there is any movement.
The MINT Commitment
Typically, a portion of the cost your Invisalign® treatment is covered if you are using dental insurance. Our front office will confirm your benefits and calculate your remaining bill. We take most payment methods for patients who don't have dental insurance. During your consultation, we will estimate your treatment costs and ways to make your treatment fit your budget, including flexible payment plans and medical financing.
